Meanwhile, you work with your advisor or agent to select personalized investments for the other four segments. These investments are designed to grow to meet your future income needs.
As your retirement progresses, your advisor will help you convert each succeeding segment of invested assets into five years of income. It’s a cycle that can repeat itself throughout your retirement, even if you live to be 100 and beyond.
