These letters are meant to expand your business by creating interest among potential clients and driving them to your business. All letters should be printed on your company letterhead.

Tips for Effective Prospecting
Many agencies have found success with prospecting through the mail. Use these four simple steps to create your own prospecting campaign:
  1. Prepare a mailing to a list of existing or potential customers.
  2. Download one of Symetra Financial's pre-approved prospecting letters (grouped by product to the right) and include any applicable marketing mail stuffers (see Marketing Materials).
  3. Mail small batches of prospecting letters weekly spread over a one- to two-month time span. Consider how much volume your office can handle; some prospecting campaigns have generated up to a 20% response.
  4. After each mailing, make follow-up phone calls to your mailing list from the prior week.
