We’re excited to welcome Jodi Allen, our new voluntary sales executive based in Colorado. Jodi joined Symetra in March after spending six and a half years as a regional sales director for Trustmark in the Rocky Mountain Region. As a sales director, she was responsible for developing and managing voluntary group and worksite distribution across six Rocky Mountain states and Minnesota. Jodi is a veteran at developing relationships and building trust in a marketplace. Prior to joining Trustmark, she was an investigative television news reporter in several markets, and spent 10 years building her personal brand in Colorado for CBS4.
Jodi received her B.A. in journalism and sociology at the University of Wisconsin. After a 20-year TV career, she still tells stories, but now she’s focused on insurance and helping brokers and clients understand the value of voluntary benefits.
