If the date you cancel is within your 30-day Free-Look Period, you will receive a full refund.
If you are outside the 30-day Free-Look Period and already paid premium that applies beyond the month of your cancellation, we will refund that unused premium. For example, if you decided to cancel in the second month of your policy but already paid the annual mode of premium, we will refund you the excess amount for the remaining months.
Yes, you can apply to increase your coverage, provided the increase is at least $100,000. This will require submitting a new application and providing updated evidence of insurability for the additional amount. Please note that your policy charges will increase, and a new surrender charge period will apply to the increased coverage starting from the date of the adjustment.
After the first policy year, you may also request a decrease in coverage by submitting a written request. However, certain limits apply, and decreases are not permitted if the policy is in a grace period.
