Investment approach

The CLO investment platform invests in primarily investment-grade rated tranches of broadly syndicated (BSL) and middle market (MM) collateralized loan 
obligations (CLOs) of varying maturities. The strategy emphasizes capital preservation and current income while offering attractive relative yield in a 
floating-rate asset class with low volatility and historically low downgrade risk. SIM has been deeply involved in CLO tranche investing for over a decade, with the competitive advantages of having an integrated CLO tranche investing and leveraged credit team, as well as SIM being a CLO manager itself.
